OxAlpha.chat is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with OpenRouter, with the anonymous developer of Ox Alpha, or with any AI lab, and nothing here is endorsed by them. All product names, model names, and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the things we write about.
Our speculation policy
The developer of Ox Alpha has not been announced. Where we report theories about its identity, we attribute them to the people making the claims and label them as unconfirmed. We do not state any unannounced identity as fact, and we will correct the record on the day of an official reveal. If you see a claim on this site presented more strongly than the evidence supports, tell us.
Facts can change quickly
Pricing, availability, and the free-preview window are checked automatically against OpenRouter’s public model list twice a day and re-verified by hand at each update, but a stealth model can change or disappear at any time. The date on each page tells you when it was last revised. Always confirm current pricing on OpenRouter before relying on it.
Benchmarks and third-party results
There are no official benchmarks for Ox Alpha. Any results we cite come from third parties, are reported with their limitations, and have not been independently reproduced by us.
The chat tool
The chat on our home page sends your messages directly to OpenRouter using your own key. We do not see them and cannot vouch for the model’s responses. Model output may be wrong, biased, or unsafe; use your own judgment, especially for medical, legal, financial, or security matters.
