OxAlpha.chat (ox-alpha-ai.chat) is an independent, unofficial information site about the Ox Alpha stealth model and OpenRouter stealth models generally. This policy explains what we do and do not collect. The short version: we are built to collect as little as possible.
The chat: your API key and messages never reach us
- Your OpenRouter API key is stored only in your browser’s local storage. It is never transmitted to our server, never logged, and can be removed at any time from the “API key” panel in the chat.
- Your messages and the model’s replies are sent directly from your browser to OpenRouter (openrouter.ai). They do not pass through our server. We cannot see, store, or retrieve them.
- Conversations are kept in memory only. They are discarded when you leave the page or start a new chat.
- Two small preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage: your API key (if you save one) and a flag recording that you accepted the privacy notice. Clearing site data removes both.
When you use the chat, you are using OpenRouter and the anonymous model provider directly, under their terms. The Ox Alpha listing states that prompts may be retained by the provider under OpenRouter’s Stealth Program terms and are not used for training. We have no control over and no access to that data. Do not enter personal, confidential, or sensitive information.
What our server sees
Like any website, our hosting server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, browser user-agent, timestamp) for security and debugging, retained for a limited period by the hosting provider. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes the same connection data to provide security and caching under its own privacy policy.
Analytics and advertising
We do not currently run analytics scripts or advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any such script is added, and it will be disclosed here.
Cookies
We set no tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a functional security cookie. The chat uses local storage (not cookies) as described above.
Third-party links
We link to OpenRouter so you can create an API key. Their site is governed by their own privacy policy.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the date at the top will change when we do. Questions: see the contact page.
